outfit of the day(bird): its working

romper ~ vintage, b. (a resale shop)
belt, hat, sunglasses ~ thrifted
shoes ~ Target
watch ~ gift

I have mentioned before that we play a question and answer game during dinner. Last night's question was, "What's the first thing you think of when you wake up in the morning?" and Eva said, "Mama". That alone made me happy, but then she explained why she answered that way.

She said, "Every morning, mama comes in my room to wake me up and she sits on my bed and tucks my hair behind my ears and rubs my back until I wake up, and it makes me happy. So even when she doesn't do that, when I wake up, I always think of her."

Heart melted.

Sometimes I do things right, and sometimes even the kids notice.
