outfit of the day(bird): P25

jeans ~ Old Navy
shirt ~ Target
vest, earrings, necklace ~ Forever 21
boots ~ vintage Frye, thrifted
sunglasses ~ Chris', H&M

five weeks ago, i started the T25 workouts. if you haven't heard of them, they are 25-minute workouts by the same guy who does the insanity and beach body workouts. i love the idea...a non-stop workout for just 25 minutes. he focuses a lot on ab work, which i also like, because faced to create my own workouts, i will rarely include abs. there are two circuits that i am doing, five weeks each, and i just started the second circuit.

yesterday i did the routine entitled core cardio, which is exactly what it sounds like...a lot of core and a lot of cardio. especially a lot of jumping around, which is why this post is called what it is. i know, i know tmi. but apparently jumping jacks aren't a good idea when you have had two kids and hit 40.

  2. You look fabulous!

I've heard so much about that exercise. Lots of good things. I'll have to look into it. And I think jumping jacks are not a good idea after 13 ;)

  3. Two of my co-workers have told me that jumping jacks are just not possible after having children...haha! You do look fabulous already, but the length of those workouts make them seem like a manageable way to stay fit!

  4. You look great in this very cute outfit. I would totally wear this, which is hopefully not insulting to you! ;-)

OMG-jumping jacks. Serious athletes pee themselves in marathons. just tell yourself you are a very serious athlete and be grateful if you can cough or sneeze safely. ;-)

  5. i used to do one of his workouts--like the basic one for those who aren't ready for p90x or whatever! i liked them.

  6. Which is exactly why I had surgery last month. Three kids, two of whom came out at the same time (one of whom came out feet first).... let's just say jumping jacks were not a good idea for me either. Until now!! :)

  15. Shaun T??? I had such a love/hate relationship with Insanity when I did it. But he is a very good motivator and really good at what he does. I will have to try this after the baby to try to get back in shape! I love your cute vest and boots!

  16. Any workout you can get done in 30 minutes or less is awesome. I hear the T25 is pretty hardcore! Oh, how I can sympathize with you and getting older and having kids and what it does to the ol' bladder. It's awful, ha ha!

  17. I may need to look into the T-25 :) Sounds like my kind of workout. Love the boots.

  28. Oh you are so cute!!! I love those boots, the necklace and the super fun vest. I didn't get the title thingy, til I read others comments. hahahhahaha, now I get it and yes I should have figured that out. Back when my now 32 yr old ydd was a yr old, I was doing the "aerobic dancing" thing all the time at those public gyms. After the second routine, I would always have to run to the restroom, do my thing and then rush back in and then get back on beat asap. hahahhaha.

  29. I love this. It's like...glam country but subtle, no glitter or rhinestones. Lovely.

  30. Haha - you're awesome! I love that vest! I do the quick 30 minute Jillian Michaels DVDs that are 3 mins of cardio, 2 mins of strength, 1 min of abs - repeat. They're so hard for being so short!

  31. Megan I like that unique scarf-vest. Fun & bohemian. Great Cowgirl Boots & Necklace, too.

And many many props to you for such extreme workouts. I wish I was that person. Seriously.
