outfit of the day(bird): it could be worse

dress~ Kimchi Blue, hand-me-down from megan
necklace~ Etsy, gift from jim
shoes~ Qupid, Marshalls

i apologize for the state of my dress in these photos. i know it is wrinkly. i wore it all day on tuesday and didn't take these outfit photos until jim got home from work. and this dress and i, we played hard that day. but at least it is just a few wrinkles. it could be worse, seeing as my clothes are often used as mimi's personal tissue and/or napkin all day long. and, thanks to ben, the left shoulder of most of my shirts and dresses is usually covered in a mixture of drool, milk, and snot by the end of the day. lovely, i know. my life is so glamorous. so, please forgive the wrinkles. like i said, it could be worse! it could be snot.

xoxo, nora bird

p.s. for the record, i did not wear these shoes while playing with my kids all day. i only put them on for the photos. i'm such a cheater, i know. but i figured this was cuter than my bare feet.

  3. The dress is gorgeous and, frankly, I wouldn't have noticed the wrinkles if you hadn't pointed them out. A dress that looks so good after playing in it all day is definitely a keeper!

  9. I love this dress! And it happens. We usually take pictures at the end of the work day and by that time, things are wrinkly or dirty. Sometimes I will re-iron if it is really bad lol!

  10. Your dress reminds me of one I have that's black and cobalt! Even when I do iron, my clothes usually are wrinkled within 5 minutes, ha. PS Sometimes I cheat with my blog photo shoes too!

  11. I totally cheat for photos too. Though I love my heels, I'm not usually rolling around on the floor with the kiddos with them on.:) Love the outfit, wrinkles and all!

  12. Oh, who cares about the wrinkles, that dress is just so lovely! I love how original the pattern is: at first I thought that it was a top and a skirt :) You look so pretty!

  13. Wrinkles are definitely better than snot :) My clothes are often wrinkled and I don't have any children to blame! Love the dress, it is so beautiful and flattering. As for cheating: who does wear heels all day? Not me, that's for sure!

  19. Just yesterday I wore a cotton sweater vest that I had also worn on Sunday and it had a drool spot on the front the Baby LL had left. I had to wash it off and headed out on errands and grocery shopping with a wet spot on my upper boobage area. It dried right but for a while there some say the wetness. hmmmm, slightly embarrassing. OOOOOhh I love this ensemble!
