outfit of the day(bird): the complete package

jeans ~ Marshalls
booties, sweater ~ Target
earrings ~ hand-me-down

half of this outfit is halloween's fault. you see, i went to target to buy some candy, and as i know you all know all too well, i ended up leaving $100 later. but how could i resist a sweater that says love, some leopard booties, and a few other goodies that were all on the clearance rack?

einstein may have been smart, but the theory of relativity has nothing on the marketing geniuses who decided to throw groceries, make-up, hair color, shoes, jewelry, and clothing all in one store. now if minnesota would just man up and allow liquor to be sold in grocery stores, i think we'd have the definition of "complete package".

  10. Oh Target. I have to avoid Target all together when I go on a shopping ban, I just end up with too much stuff! I love it though. I love your Love sweater. I told you on Instagram I got a similar one with stars. I saw those leopard booties too but got tan ones instead.

  12. Ha-ha target has its evil ways. I walk in for you know stuff like tape and I am all of a sudden it the womens department! Say what!? how did this happen... I hear ya girl. That would be AWESOME if Target could sell beer... does that happen in other states? I would live in target. Love this outfit by the way! great finds. Those booties are awesome!

  13. Those leopard booties are so excellent. They totally justify forgoing a Halloween costume and telling everybody you're dressed up as "awesome."

  14. Oh that Evil Target! You really scored, though. Nice boots. I love your blog. It makes me miss my sister. We are one year apart & also fashion obsessed. She lives in Montana & I live in California. Boo hoo. The only good thing about living apart, if we both fall in love with an outfit, we can both get it without having to worry that we will look like aging demented twins that still dress alike.

  15. Liqour in grocery stores would be amazing. As is that sweater!

  16. LIQUOR IN GROCERY STORES EXIST I TELL YOU! my target back home sells liqour under 40 percent, so so co, alize, etc. and some grocery stores have little liqour sections so you can buy the real good stuff like good bourbon there (with groceries!) I MISS OHIO! (cries loudly because in pennsylvania you can't buy beer/wine/liqour but in their respective stores and beer and wine never in the same place. this state is the worst).

anyhow. i have the same problem at target. i just went today and ended up with like a random array of food, nail polish, and shoes. but i do love the love sweater. and the leopard booties. and you know what - they were on sale!

  28. I could not have said it better myself. Target kills me everytime. I have not bought clothing in 3 to 4 weeks. I am dying. Great shoes and I saw that adorable sweatshirt...I was really tempted. Glad you got it. You look sexy and your hair so smooth and pretty. Dawn suitcase vignettes. Did I tell ya I love your shoes? Love.
