i bought stole this tunic from two birds after it didn't sell at one of our pop-up sales, many moons ago. is it even possible to steal from yourself? probably not, but that is beside the point. i took it because i loved how kind of ugly-awesome it was (and yes, ugly-awesome is a technical term). and then, of course, i never ever wore it. until the other day when i realized that it made a perfect maternity top! of course i discover this is the last two weeks (or less! i hope!) of my pregnancy. oh well...i am sure i will find a way to make it work post-baby, too. after all, these colors are perfect for fall!

i liked that tunic immediately. i guess i like ugly-awesome things. you paid for it the 1st time, so NO it isn't stealing. it's testing out the merchandise. if you try to sell it again, you can say why yes this lovely top can be used for pre- pregnancy wear, maternity wear, or post pregnancy wear.

I like it too! I have quite a few ugly-awesome things, and when styled right, they just work (as you show so perfectly here). Looking forward to seeing this piece post-baby too... it looks comfortable, and I imagine you'll want that at some point ;)
