baby bird

at long last, i am so excited to introduce all of you to ben!


ben was born on wednesday, august 15th at 12:16pm weighing 7lbs, 8oz and measuring 21 inches long. big boy!

i must say, he is totally and completely worth the long wait and all of the hard work it took for him to get here! jim and i are so very happy he is here. he has stolen our hearts and we are just so in love!

i would like to thank you all so much for your kind and encouraging words over the past nine months. i cannot tell you how much your support and kindness has helped me throughout this pregnancy! especially during these last few (what felt like very, very long) weeks! you are all so amazing. thank you!

i might be a bit MIA from the blog for the next couple of weeks with a few infrequent postings here and there. the amazing megan bird will be taking it over on her own so i can get to know my little guy and help mimi adjust to being the awesome big sister that i know she will be. thank you so much, megan! you are a fabulous sister and an incredible auntie! i love you!
