when we chose this inspiration, i knew that i wanted to wear my cute little bunny dress. finding the dress was a whole other issue. i searched through my closet about five times...from hanger to hanger, searching. and then i got on my knees so i could look from the bottom. i figured it would be easier to see the bunnies from the bottom of the closet. it was at this point that i became a little lot disgusted with myself. granted, minneapolis closets tend to be very small ~ my closet is less than six feet across. but still, i have a lot of dresses. i could probably wear a new dress every day for at least 100 days. not kidding. i am actually ashamed to admit that. so maybe i should stop buying dresses (or any other clothes for that matter) for a while. but who am i kidding...the next time i see a cute pattern on a cute dress, i know i won't be able to resist. the first step is admitting you have a problem...right?
happy monday!

That bunny dress is the perfect one to use for this inspiration! It's funny you mention this because I was just telling Patrick last night "you know, I bought a new dress for the rehearsal dinner, you have to (this is me justifying my recent purchase to him), but really I have so many dresses, there really was no need to. Even my most worn ones get worn maybe once a month. Maybe." LOL
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the rabbit print dress! I love the little bow in the front, it's cuuutue! I also love the skirt layered under the tunic. I love doing that for work, way to expand your wardrobe!

Percect summer outfit, love the shirt layered over the skirt and your shoes make your legs look even longer, god bless america. dawn suitcase vignettes xo

Megan that dress is so adorable, I am counting the days until Target makes it way (finally) to Canada!!! Don't feel so bad, in my new house I will be turning a whole bedroom into my closet (at last count I had something like 60 dresses). Nora you look so beautiful- the baby bump is the perfect accessory!
ReplyDeleteYou both look so cute. I'm having fun reading past posts. I loved the one about the bats. Sorry for laughing. We once had one in our son's nursery. Not fun.

ReplyDeleteYou ladies look fantastic, Megan's dress is spot on in the pattern and shape, and I just love the volume Nora created with her peplum shirt and skirt. Love Nora's shoes too! My efforts to find a dress recently revealed my closet dust bunnies so I know the feeling! :D

I wanted that dress so badly when it was at Target but was never able to justify the expense. Then when it went on sale it wasn't in my size anymore. Such a cute print and it looks great on you!
ReplyDeleteNora, you're one of the best dressed pregnant ladies I've seen lately. This heat has been awful and you don't look wilted at all.
