a group of gals and i went to go see Magic Mike on saturday night. it was pretty amazing ~ and by amazing i mean matt bomer is in it. and as long as i get to see matt bomer every once in a while, i'm happy. i'm not a huge fan of channing tatum ~ he's kind of meaty and a little too muscly for my taste. but that boy can dance. the rest of the guys are just ok for me, too (except that wrestler who is in it...he's just a plain meat head). the other lead, alex pettyfer, is pretty cute, but he looks a lot like my brother-in-law, so i had that in my head the whole time i was watching the movie. kind of weird.
the funniest was matthew mcconaughey. we were all laughing that he pretty much just played himself the whole movie. because i truly believe that in real life, matthew probably wears short bike shorts and cropped skin-tight yellow tees. he also probably wears a tasseled thong...but we will never know. i'm pretty sure he had his agent write it into his contract that he got to play the bongos as a stipulation to him playing the role. and about four or more times in the movie, he used his old dazed and confused line, "alright alright alright". like i said i'm pretty sure he just played himself. but himself was perfect for this role, so it worked.
have you seen the movie? do you want to? i recommend it, but mainly for the comedic factor (oh and the sweaty man dancing). and matt bomer. because if you don't know who he is, you need to find out.
alright alright alright.
