outfit of the day(bird): matchy matchy!

mimi and i wore these outfits on wednesday to a play date with a dear friend and her two adorable boys. and i honestly didn't realize that we were dressed almost exactly alike until my friend pointed it out. that morning, after i had dressed mimi, i ran up to my room and, without thinking, threw on this outfit (that's right. she was totally wearing it first). it has pretty much been my go-to outfit for the last few weeks so deciding to wear it was almost automatic. when we got to the park and my friend was all, "um, nora, are you and mimi dressed alike"? i was all, "huh? no way! i would never...ah, man, we totally are"! what can i say? i like this outfit. and apparently, subconsciously, i think it should be mimi's go-to outfit, as well! as long as i don't continue dressing like her into her teenage years, i think we'll be alright...

later that day, when jim was taking our outfit photos, mimi kept copying all of my poses. it was pretty much the most adorable thing ever. like mama, like daughter. perhaps i am raising a future fashion blogger???
