new loves and old friends: prom

i love when my little sister, kristin, visits. she usually stays with me because we have the worlds most comfortable guest bed. seriously. like sleeping on a cloud. it is way better than my and jim's bed, but we can't put it in our room since jim's parents paid for it so that they would have a nice place to sleep when they visit us. but i do sleep on it quite often. so comfy cozy! also, when kristin is here, i do things like get take out and watch bad movies in the middle of the day. something i would never normally do. normally it is laundry, cleaning the kitchen, catching up on blogs and emails. just normal, everyday stuff. but when i put mimi down for her nap and kristin suggested that we watch "Prom"? well, i couldn't resist. don't judge! you know you want to see it now! plus, the lead guy in it looks kind of like a young johnny depp. in fact, it seems he may even play a young johnny depp in a future tim burton movie. and who doesn't love johnny depp? or cheesy teenybopper movies? right? right. full review coming soon...

i got this crochet top from Salvaged Strawberry at our last *It's a Date* sale. i loved it the minute i saw it. it is juts so colorful and fun and different from anything else i own. the best part is that there is a tag sewn into it that says "Handmade by Hazel Grieger". cute! i wish i could meet miss hazel and thank her for the adorable top!

  13. That top is so cute. There's no way I could have let that get into anyone else's hands either. :) And you had me at "cheesy teenybopper movie". I can't ever pass up Drive Me Crazy if it's playing on TV.
